Mr Lohn is a fully accredited Consultant Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon who holds the FRCS Plast qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
He trained in the UK on the London training programme with specialist fellowship time spent at The Wellington Hospital in cosmetic surgery and the Royal Marsden Hospital in cancer reconstruction. Mr Lohn completed his training by undertaking a 15 month fellowship in Melbourne, Australia at the world renowned Royal Melbourne and Royal Women’s Hospitals, refining his skills in complex cancer, post traumatic reconstruction and hand surgery, as well as cosmetic surgery under the supervision of Professor Mark Ashton, Past President of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons.
He currently practises in the NHS at St. George’s Hospital in London where he performs complex cancer (particularly breast) and post trauma reconstruction, abdominal wall reconstruction, hand and skin cancer surgery, as well as being a core member of the regional bone infection unit and the national complex amputee service at Queen Mary Hospital, Roehampton. In addition to his clinical commitments, Mr Lohn is Lead for complex trauma reconstruction at St George’s, and as a GMC recognised trainer, he is responsible for the trainee plastic surgeons passing through the hospital.
In his private practice, Mr Lohn sees a wide range of patients with lumps, bumps, moles, scarring and hand surgery through to more complex reconstructive problems, as well as cosmetic surgery of the breasts and abdomen in females.
