Oving Medical Clinic is proud to announce a new chapter in its long-standing tradition of outstanding patient care. Now under the leadership of Drs Pete Morgan, Greg Wang and Etienne Raffner, the clinic is introducing a range of new private healthcare services, a modernised approach to access, and a brand-new website featuring online appointment booking.
Founded by Dr John Tanner and his wife Petra, Oving Medical Clinic has earned a strong reputation for clinical excellence, attention to detail, and patient-first care, serving Oving and the West Sussex and East Hampshire community. Now, as the clinic evolves, all of us at the Clinic are enthusiastic about what the future holds, with the heart of our ethos remaining firmly intact.
“This is about building on a strong foundation,” says Dr Pete Morgan, GP, MSK Physician and new co-director of the Clinic. “We are incredibly fortunate to inherit a practice with such a well-respected reputation, thanks to Dr Tanner’s vision and dedication. Expanded Services, Same Trusted Approach
Under the new management, Oving Medical Clinic is now offering private general practice services alongside specialist clinics such as menopause support and aesthetics treatments.
Alongside women’s and men’s health checks we will also be offering a revolutionary new cancer screening blood test that helps detect over 60 of the most common cancers before symptoms develop.
Our specialist surgeon will be performing minor procedures including surgical dermatology and mole removals.
We will also provide travel health, and medicals for HGV, motorsport as well as the services we are known for, including sports and MSK, joint injections and orthopaedics.
Clinic co-Director, GP and ENT physician Dr Greg Wang explains, “We’re not changing what people love about the clinic. We’re simply expanding access to care and adding more choice, especially where NHS services are under pressure.”
He continues, “People increasingly want personal healthcare when they need it —without the long wait. That’s exactly what we offer here at The Oving Medical Clinic. From wider GP services, menopause health, and skin assessments to B12 injections and health checks, our aim is to provide a friendly, expert service that puts patients in control of their health.”
The Oving Medical Clinic team includes experienced GPs, hospital consultants, clinical specialists, physiotherapy and a fantastic nursing team who work together to deliver a broad spectrum of medical care with minimal waiting times and a warm, community-focused approach.
Dr Tanner, founder of the original clinic, remains involved and continues to see patients with spinal and musculoskeletal disorders, supporting the transition with continuity and reassurance.

“All of us balance work and family, and we know how valuable people’s time is,” comments Clinic co- director and Maxillo-Facial & Oral Surgeon Dr Raffner. “The new booking system means patients can now arrange their appointments quickly and easily at a time that suits them, without needing to call. It’s just one way we’re making care more convenient for the community of Oving and Chichester.”
Dr Raffner adds, “We also offer a choice of pay as you go pricing or monthly subscriptions for our GP appointments, to make it easier to manage payments for individuals and families.”
